Regenerative Medicine

regenerative med

Overview:
Regenerative medicine involves using Human Cellular Tissue Products (HCTPs) to help your body to heal itself.  We provide patients with HCTPs to help stimulate the regenerating healing process. These HCTPs are made up of hyaluronic acid, growth factors, mesenchymal stem cells, exosomes and cytokines, which are all powerful factors that help regenerate your body’s tissues.

After you’re injected with the HCTPs, the growth factors can start triggering cell growth in the area injected. Over the following few weeks, cells may grow and divide, forming new tissues. This may heal damaged or injured areas you have, without the need to go through a surgical procedure which can be both costly and lay you up for weeks.

What Can Be Treated With Regenerative Medicine?
Regenerative medicine with HCTP’s is beneficial for healing many types of bone and soft tissue problems, including arthritis. The injections may help to heal

How Long Does it Take to Work?
It does take some time for regenerative medicine to work because you are kickstarting your body’s own healing process. Some patients report a dramatic reduction in their pain levels in as little 6 to 8 weeks, whilst other patients experience some improvement within a few more weeks. It just depends on how quickly your body responds and adapts to the treatment.

How Many Treatments Do I Need ?
Depending on how quickly you heal and the severity of your injury you may require 1 or multiple treatments. If you don’t see any improvement after several months, or if you don’t notice significant improvement, we might suggest repeating the treatment, in order to further boost healthy tissue growth. We will let you know what to expect during your consultation and assessment appointment.
